Will be back!

Had a lovely week. Cottage is beautiful, comfortable and well equipped. We were lucky enough to see the pine martin in the garden along with a whole host of beautiful birds including a woodpecker!

So many walks in the area. We’re very much looking forward to retuning next year.

Exceptionally well maintained…

Beautiful, comfortable, well equipped cottage which is exceptionally well maintained by the owners and the caretaker. We were fortunate to have nightly visits from the Pine Martin in the garden and we were entertained by a large variety of birds on the feeders during the day. There are many lovely walks starting either directly from the cottage or close to it. Definitely a cottage that we will return to.

First Class…

Overall a first class property, quite and secluded. Perfect base for walking and visiting local attractions. Simply couldn’t fault it in any way. Will go back there without hesitation.

A real pleasure…

The location and aspect of Dubh Loch is certainly a plus, with it’s large garden, loch view, pretty burn and wildlife. it was a real pleasure to take advantage of the lovely weather by sitting out every morning for breakfast and a barbeque in the evening. There was entertainment from the birds, red squirrel, woody woodpecker, and evening calls from the owl.

The house was comfortable inside, well managed and maintained.

A week was not enough…

We fell in love with Dubh Loch cottage on the web and reality did not disappoint us in any way. The cottage was immaculate on arrival and extremely well equipped and comfortable. The cottage is beautifully and thoughtfully furnished with places for togetherness or solitude as we wished. Long evenings in the garden conservatory watching the sun set behind the trees were magical. We loved the rolling lawn, the various different places to sit outside and to add to that, the sound of running water was the cherry on top. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dubh Loch cottage – a week was not enough!
